Bicycle touring Spain. Niebla,
is an impressive old walled Spanish town. The streets are so
narrow they could easily qualify as bike lanes. And the walls
were still good for something too... the horrendous wind that
had blown in our ears all day was mercifully silent. Lurching
down a steep cobblestone path on our heavily loaded touring bikes,
we peered up at a church in front of us. There, high on the bell
tower, sat a gangly stork's nest. I guess when birds are that
big, no one argues about where they build their nest. |
