Michelle looked in the yellow pages and found a notary that is close. It helps when one knows where the addresses are and has a car. She drove us to a mall and a fellow there signed copies for us. It cost big bucks for a signature that took less than five minutes to do. Nice work if you can get it. We took the copies to Square One Mall in Mississauga and mailed them back to Steve via Priority Courier. It is supposed to be delivered Tuesday morning. the 20th. The deadline is the 20th, so that should work out fine.
Glynn and Lisa came and picked us up. We went out for Thai food. It was great. We had phad, the dish that made Thai food famous, cashew chicken, spring rolls, shrimp soup, rice, and another shrimp dish. Later, we went to a dessert place. There were mostly cheese cakes, but I found a Nanaimo bar. Have I mentioned that touring cyclists can eat massive amounts of food?
We went for a tour of Glynn and Lisa's new apartment. It is two bedrooms, but they use one for an office. The apartment is tiny. They have a solarium where the dining room table is. They have a rabbit. There is a full bath outside the small bedroom office. The master bedroom has a full bath, plus a separate shower stall. All this for a mere $1200 per month. There is also a rooftop garden. They are planning on having their reception up there after their wedding.
Lisa is a social worker with youths. She says society's problem is discipline, or rather, the lack thereof. Can't say I'd argue much there.
