After an arduous bike and hike into Tulameen Falls, the base of the falls themselves provided a fitting spot for a lunch break. The walk into Tulameen Falls is best attempted late in the summer, when temperatures are high and runoff is low. Tulameen River courses through a narrow canyon; the waterway itself must be traversed several times to reach the falls. A set of dry clothes and an extra pair of shoes for after the hike is recommended. |
