| While bicycle touring Sardinia we came across the Santa Trinità di Saccárgia, a Pisan-style church constructed in 1116. We circled the building, admiring its conspicuous zebra-striped facade. The church's lofty bell tower, also constructed in alternating layers of black and white rock reminded me of a tall stack of licorice and vanilla Allsorts. |
