| Bicycle tour California. We cycled down cold, drizzly Oregon coast. I looked forward to hitting sunny California. When we did -- so overjoyed sunny weather must be just around the corner -- I whipped off my long-sleeved jersey and sweatpants... and waited for the sun's rays to scorch my bod. To no avail! Less than a minute later, I not-so-reluctantly re-donned warmer gear. (Difficult to see, but I notice I posed with my red wool socks still on!) |
