| June 1. When on a long distance bike tour across the States, we discovered we weren't the only crazy ones in the campground. There was a Californian, as well. Luckily, he lent us a shovel and we scooped a patch out for the tent. I'll never forget the California guy's first words as he watched us roll in: "Hey, Canadians! Want a beer? They're cold!" (I kinda had my heart set on a hot chocolate.) |
