A Moment in Time

Holy Spirit Empowered

Upon rounding a bend;
on a supreme wilderness trail,
my wandering eyes behold a three year old
black bear.

If you didn't know better; you would say,
that this foraging creature is my friend.

Blacky, ambles along a pristine springtime
ridge.
Eyeing me curiously, while feeding.
Stripping new growth, which is tender and
nourishing.
New, spring vegetation. Kissed with the
adorning warmth of glorious Nature.

A moment in time.
I watch, as this bold black bear meanders up
and through the variegated greenery of
spring-freshened wilderness tapestry.

As the bear's behind disappears from sight
Nature is truly enhanced with a moment
in time.
