Canada Geese

While out for a walk,
Along the river Tulameen,
Twenty two Canada Geese,
Where drifting with the current,
For a short ways,
Then worked their way, back upstream,
I stop to admire true awesome beauty,
Of these magnificent birds,
As they enjoy the water,
And the warm sunny rays,
Spectacular, exhilarating,
Too much for words.
These superior waterfowl,
Drifting in the water,
Bring joy to my heart,
The splendor of their plumage,
Is reflected, off the sheen of the river,
Radiating beauty of these feathered creatures,
Sharing, gives my heart warmth,
Mother Nature does deliver,
This family of Canada Geese,
Are unique and caring.
