The Peace of God

The Peace of God

May the peace of God above,
Be the umpire of your heart,
I pray for the peace of God,
To fill your mind,
With His eternal love,
The peace of God will,
Set you free,
Once the peace of God,
Is embedded deep within,
Your heart, you know,
That God is true,
The peace of God, in
Jesus Christ,
Is your guiding light,
With the peace of God,
Caressing your heart,
And mind,
You'll be close to God,
Constantly doing,
What is spiritually right.
God says ... Philippians 4:7
"And the peace of God,
Which passeth all understanding,
Shall keep your hearts and minds,
Through Jesus Christ."

The tranquility of mind,
Freeing the believer from,
Fear and worry.
With the peace of God,
True Christians are His.
"Peace" which passeth all,
Understanding means,
(1) Peace divinely bestowed,
In times of anxiety, so,
Wonderful that it exceeds,
One's ability to understand it;
And (2) God's peace far,
Surpassing one's own,
Understanding of the problem,
And his ability to cope with,
And solve it."
Let the peace of God be,
The umpire of your heart.
The peace of God is,
Found in Jesus Christ,
Our Savior,
The peace of God will,
Set you free for eternity,
In the peace of God,
True Christians win,
Eternal life, with God above,
Yes my friend, God loves,
You and me.
God says ... Psalm 34:14
"Depart from evil, and
Do good; seek peace and,
Pursue it."
Let the peace of God,
Be the umpire of your heart,
When God throws a task,
At you, don't strike out.
Use your guiding light,
And hit a home run.
Let Jesus Christ the
Umpire of your,
Heart, be your guide,
For He is true,
With His guidance,
You'll have eternal life,
In heaven someday.
