March 28 Tuesday Bicycle touring Italy Ha. Had planned an early start cycling to Sienna, but it rained off and on all last night. Big crashing thunder that passed right over our small bicycle touring tent. Lightning lit up the tent big time. Maybe it will blow over, we mused. Right. Ice crystals are bouncing off the tent fly. Hmmm. Seems to me like we have had a lot of unseasonably cold weather this bicycle touring trip. Saw some daffodils and tulips starting to poke their heads up out of the cold earth. I hope they have earmuffs. |
