Morris Dancers
Sharon and I caught a ride with Terry and Joyce to the Red Lion Pub in Little Missenden where Terry played squeeze box for the local Morris dancing group. The members had bells on their knees that jingled as they danced while waving handkerchiefs or knocking wooden sticks together. Watch those fingers.
As darkness fell we retired indoors to sing and quaff a pint of bitter. One was plenty for me. Kids and dogs were welcome into the cheery pub with its big old wooden beams. There was a duck and trout pond out back. Alistair and Bruni picked us up as Sharon and I wanted to get an early departure. The drive home was along high hedged winding roads the width of a bike path.
