| Cycle touring Oregon. Cape Blanco, Oregon, is the farthest point west in the Lower 48, so, as you can imagine, it gets an awful lot of wind. In fact, on this day, a gale force wind whipped straight into our sorry maws! In one place, I shifted to a lower gear... to go downhill! Downhill!? Sometimes life ain't fair. My downhill speed was a pitiful 7 mph. Maximum! |
