August 31 Wednesday Bicycle touring from Wakefield Michigan to Michigamme Michigan
It is still cool. We changed our cycle tour route to Hwy 28, to hopefully get away from the traffic on Hwy 2. We ate lunch at Lake Gogebic. The wind is freezing. Pretty cold to be on an extended bicycle tour. We pulled a picnic table over against the change room house to help block the wind.
I walked down to Agate Falls. They are a wonderful bridal veil type. The route down was rugged. A sign at the top warned "Hazardous and strenuous."
We bicycle camped by Lake Michigamme. I found a trail down to the train tracks and then we found an opening in the woods just large enough for our two-person Kelty tent. We never would have squeezed a larger tent between the trees.
